I feel that my contributions are valuable, appreciated and recognized. | | What do you like best about working at Spansion? | Spansion is a company that values their people. Respect is a way of life here. | | What do you feel are the most unique things about Spansion? | Spansion is a place where an individual can be innovative. Thinking outside of the box is encouraged and somehow integrated into cross-functional teams. | | What is the most memorable moment you've had working at Spansion? | I received a Vice President's Award for an expeditious new process transfer to our Fab in Japan that saved the company a great deal of money. I then realized what an impact an individual or small team can have on the bottom line. | | How does it feel to do your job? | I feel blessed to be able to do my job. I think its a great fit for my intellect, training, skills, temperament and personality. | | Tell us about the team you work with and what you enjoy most about working with them. | Although my department is an interesting mix of physicists, chemists, material scientists and others with vastly differing backgrounds, we somehow easily work together to provide world class materials analysis for Spansion's R&D and Japanese Fabs. The diversity is an asset when attacking a problem because everyone has something different to contribute in the quest to find a solution. | | Share your thoughts about Spansion's corporate values (determination, initiative, integrity, and respect for people). | Spansion is a company that values their people. Respect is a way of life here. | | What is your 'Claim to Fame'? | I'm the "great encourager". People come to me for advice, comfort and encouragement or just to vent their frustrations.
